Everything is absolutely fantastic!!! I don't really need to say anything else! I've always received a very warm welcome, the staff and service are fabulous. The quality of the food is excellent. Great layout of tables in restaurant and bar area. Last had a Yorkshire pudding beef wrap, then went back the following day for a Yorkshire pudding pork wrap..... because they were sooooooo good!

Visited the Lunesdale Arms today for Sunday Lunch and what a find! All the staff including the younger members of the team were top notch, attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The establishment itself is extremely well designed and pleasing to be in. The Sunday Lunch was super. If you are looking for a place to eat you won’t be disappointed. Well done to the team and the owners. A rare find in a world which seems to have let service standards slip.

Such a lovely place for dinner on a random stop from a long drive. The staff was very friendly and managed to fit us on a table there and then, and they were so welcoming to my dog as well. My dog is a little shy, but she warmed up to the staff very quickly as they were very respectful to greeting her. The food was very nice, good portions with a reasonable price!

Espectacular!! This has been a massive discovery. We haven't been happy with any of the restaurants we have tried during our vacation in the Lake District. I did score them as 3 maximum, this one can't be less than a 5. Service friendly, quick, efficient. Food good quality, quantity, great menu. Spanish chorizo. Dessert are amazing too. Price is acceptable, good value for money.

Went today for Sunday lunch and it was so very good. Meat was tender, lots of veg, tasty gravy and the best cauliflower cheese. I had lamb and a gorgeous glass of Malbe and hubby had pork, both were delicious. We shared the trio of desserts which included lemon posset, chocolate ganache with raspberry sorbet and mango Panna cottage, delicious! Reasonably priced for the quality. We will be back for sure.

Have been for many evening meals and always experienced high standards. Due to a cancelled plan we dropped in for lunch; really excellent Caesars salad and Duck Salad. Delicious. Will be back for more lunches!

We've been here a number of times as a family and always had good food. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Decent size venue and nice seating area outside. Menu is extensive and interesting, portion sizes also good

Visited a few weeks back while staying in the area. The Lunesdale arms is closed Monday and Tuesday so we visited on a Wednesday evening following some positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and sat us at a table near the bar as we had our dog with us. The food was very good in both quality and quantity. There were quite a few locals in and the atmosphere was very friendly although I think the number of customers might have outpaced the staff occasionally. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.
